Fading Realities: The Shadows of the Future

My first science fiction story

I’ve always believed science fiction helps us understand the future better than any forecast or trend analysis. That’s why I wrote “𝗙𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲,” a story that delves into the human cost of an increasingly digital world.

It’s set in a future where the line between virtual and real has almost entirely disappeared. The protagonist, a Prime Minister, must navigate life through digital avatars and AI assistants, all while trying to maintain the fleeting moments of human connection with her family.

This story reflects the questions we face today: Are we losing ourselves to technology? What happens when virtual worlds replace real-life experiences?
