Our economy is slowly transitioning to a tokenized economy. Countries around the world compete with favourable regulations and sandboxes to stand out in this global digital market. Still, the road ahead is full of challenges we must collectively overcome.

Despite these challenges, imperfect regulation, and ever-evolving technologies, tokens are rapidly changing the economic system. Such a tokenized economy would be more efficient, transparent, and trustworthy than our current economy and worth pursuing.

1. A database of 200 million proteins - available to the public.

DeepMind's AlphaFold successfully predicted the structure of nearly all proteins known to humanity. These include the structures of animals, bacteria, plants, and other organisms. It has now opened this massive database to anyone for free, offering considerable opportunities to solve many issues, including fuel, food insecurity, neglected diseases, and sustainability. (MIT)

2. Is your government adopting the metaverse? Dubai certainly is.

The Dubai government has created a Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy to help Dubai step into the metaverse. With the Committee, the objective is to turn the Emirate into a leader in adopting innovative new concepts and disruptive economic and technological models. (Coingeek)

3. We are at the dawn of the Brain-Computer Interfaces era. 🧠

Just over a year ago, I tried my first wearable brain-computer interface and was mind-blown by its potential. The technology could help millions, but many are wary about the consequences and the inherent privacy issues. (Wired)
